Honest Origins

The path to motherhood and raising a family has been one of the most arduous yet rewarding experiences of my life. Most mothers would attest that it demands more of them than they could have ever imagined, yet they wouldn't trade it for the world.

My husband and I experienced years of infertility before our family was blessed with two precious baby boys. During our infertility journey, I turned to diet as a means to combat inflammation, with the hope of increasing our odds of success amidst the numerous fertility treatments we endured. It was during this time that I discovered the incredible power of what we nourish our bodies with and the remarkable healing potential of food.

Fueled by my own victorious battle with infertility and the noticeable behavioral improvements in my children through changes in our diets, I felt called to make change within the big food industry. I made the decision to hang up my police uniform and end a ten year career in law enforcement to immerse myself in the world of nutrition and food.

This journey led me to extensive experimentation and in-depth exploration of the intricate gut-brain connection, the root causes of inflammation, and the profound impact of specific foods and additives on our health, immunity, and behavior.
